Ever since Fable 3 was announced at GamesCom '09, there has been a bit of speculation on Microsoft's Natal being used in conjunction with the game. I know I hadn't really given a lot of thought on the game being released on much else until last week, when the box art for Fable 3 appeared online, stating that the game would be exclusive to Xbox 360 and Microsoft. Microsoft didn't say much about the cover, stating only that they hadn't made "any official announcements beyond 'Fable III' for Xbox 360 at this time," and Games Press even retracted the image.
But Fable III has now officially been confirmed for both the Xbox 360 and the PC, and an Xbox 360 Limited Collector’s Edition has been announced, which will contain such features, as stated on the IGN article, a new quest, an exclusive location, a new dog breed, Fable III playing cards, and more.
Lionhead Studios' releases for the Fable installments have been a wee on the oblong side, as Fable I and II were both released exclusively for the Xbox and Xbox 360, respectively, and Fable I was later released for PC and Mac. Fable II never had a release for PC and now Fable III is being released for the Xbox 360 and PC simultaneously. WTF, Lionhead?
In any case, if you are willing to slap down $80+ for the Xbox 360 Limited Collector's Edition, PC players will also have access to the downloadable content included in the edition.

Hopefully it can outdo the worst ending in video game history that was Fable 2.
