Write a letter to the California Supreme Court to fight court ordered child abuse

Let's take a seat at the front of the bus.

There is a Petition for Review being filed in the California Supreme Court on Friday, September 11, 2009 to attempt to correct some of the court corruption and torture of children and protective parents.

You may file a friend of the court letter (amicus letter) with the Court if you are effected by the potential decision. There is no formal style to the letter and you need not be an attorney to write one. This is not an amicus brief, which you must get permission to file and only after the Petition for Review is accepted.

The issues being presented for the court are as follows:

1. Corruption in the family court system is particularly devastating. Even where there is ample evidence of ethical and criminal violations by judicial officers and court collaterals, the investigation and enforcement against these violations takes a long time relative to the life of a child. Therefore, where the Commission on Judicial Performance, Judicial Systems Integrity Division of the District Attorney or another agency of authority has been investigating for over 90 days without denying the allegations, the court should recuse itself from hearing the case and vacate all orders made from the time the allegedly corrupt officials were involved.

2. Judicial immunity should not extend to collaterals who are negligent or criminal in their actions and should not extend to judicial officers who knowingly, and criminally inflict extreme emotional of physical harm to a child.

3. Opinions of Minor's Counsel that are not subject to discovery and cross examination violate the due process clause of the Fourteenth Amendment of the United States Constitution.

4. Appointment of collaterals by judicial officers is a slippery slope that leads down to a cesspool of corruption. (It won't be phrased this way for the petition, but you get the idea.) Appointment should be as with other government contracts, where a roster is opened to all qualified individuals and and they are assigned on rotation from this list.

5. The court should not be allowed to suppress freedom of speech, a right granted in the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution by threatening implicitly or explicitly to rule against a party who speaks out against the court; by ordering a parent not to discuss the case or any alleged child abuse with a minor (which also violates due process); or to rule against a party for unrelated protected speech.

6. If a parent is indigent, free representation must be provided before the court can order visitation to be monitored, eliminated or drastically reduced.

Petition denied. But thank you to the reader who made a copycat petition. (I am not a lawyer and this should not be taken as legal advice, but thank you for thinking it good enough to immitate.)

I still think a concerted effort to write someone at the California Supreme Court level is worth it. Do you know of any particular sources there that might be receptive to receiving these letters anyway? I am writing a letter to Ronald George, but mayhap there is another individual I should consider. ronpierce@yahoo.com
