Crazy Mel
Mel Gibson's divorce has been widely reported today with various publications speculating what went wrong. Some say that Mel Gibson was cheating on his wife while others claim that they have been separated since August of 2006, nearly a month after Mel's career killing drunk driving incident that included anti-semitic slurs against a police officer.
Inside sources tell me that Mel Gibson was very angry over one of Robin Moore's family members coming out of the closet. "Mel thinks homosexuals are evil and disgusting," the source tells me. "He often calls them Satan's fudgepackers." Mel Gibson has repeatedly said some pretty nasty things about homosexuals in many interviews.
Homosexuality wasn't the only problem. Apparently, Robin Moore was becoming very interested in Buddhism, even attending Bhuddist temples. Mel Gibson, a staunch Catholic - but definitely not a model one - became very upset with his wife.
The events in July 2006 were not the real reasons for the divorce, but rather icing on a dying cake. Even though I'm not a fan of Mel Gibson, I think divorce, especially when kids are involved, is a very difficult thing and I hope the best for his family.
