Six corpses discovered at home of convicted rapist Anthony Sowell (video)

Anthony Sowell, 50, was arrested by Cleveland police Saturday after the gruesome discovery of as many as six bodies at his house.

The bodies were found Thursday when police arrived at Sowell's house in order to arrest him on charges of assault and rape.

Three of the bodies have been identified. Investigators believe the remains of three more have been discovered.

Sowell spent 15 years in prison for a 1989 rape conviction. He has resided in the home since 2005.

The discovery of the bodies led to a city-wide manhunt, with authorities offering a $12,000 reward for information leading to his capture. After receiving a tip, they were able to arrest him around noon Saturday.

Authorities hope to be able to soon identify Sowell's alleged victims to bring closure to their families.
