With the City of Pasadena's water shortage reaching critical levels, this free Eco-community dialogue/lecture featuring Blue Water Planet radio show host Sandy Fox couldn't come at a better time. The Pasadena Central Library at 285 E. Walnut St., Pasadena, CA is home to a series of lectures on issues that are important to our community. The Eco-Dialogues are a brainchild of Nancy Nelson, a concerned citizen and eco-activist, who graduated from the Pasadena Neighborhood Leadership Institute, class of 2005. In 2006 she organized three Disaster Preparedness Community Dialogues; the first one was held at the Paseo Mall apartment complex, the second at the Pasadena Senior Center, and the third at the Pasadena Central Library. More recently she started these Eco-Community Dialogues by reserving The Donald R. Wright Auditorium once a month in order that the community would have an interactive forum in which to participate, learn and ask their questions about environmental problems and solutions from seasoned experts.
