Make your someday today

Anyone knows that if you want to make something happen, you have to set goals for yourself in order to achieve the desired results. If you're anything like me, you enjoy a good challenge.

Being the ambitious over achiever that I am,  I'm setting myself new goals everyday. In fact, I have so many goals that it's hard to keep track of them let alone prioritize them. It's no surprise to find that even I overwhelm myself.

But then I stumbled upon mySomeday while browsing through the Flirtexting website, a new book that lays down the ground rules of texting. This site was totally made for people like me. People with hopes, dreams and visions. People with goals, and having goals is a very attractive quality in a person.

mySomeday is actually the result of someone else's someday. mySomeday was designed to help you achieve all the dreams and goals you someday hoped to achieve. But time gets in the way and you never get around to someday, and someday keeps getting pushed back farther and farther.

It was designed to address a universal reality; life, laziness or lack of know-how makes achievement elusive. 'Plans' are meant to address this gap between the truth and reality.  - mySomeday website

The idea is to create a detailed road map that will get you to where you want to be, from beginning to end and start to finish, allowing you to track your progress, add or edit steps, and even set deadlines and reminders.

It's a really awesome tool. You just click on "add new someday" and complete the sentence: Someday I'm going to .... (mine was fall in love again). You have the option of uploading a photo and then you provide a brief description for the community about what you're trying to achieve and why. You also have the option of including tags to match you with like-minded people. (Is this another way to date?)

Your goals don't even have to go public. You can totally create one just for yourself and mark it as private. I love how simple and easy it is. When I think of plans, the words 'elaborate' and 'detailed' come to mind. But with this website it's actually quite simple, especially with the feature that allows you to copy other plans that you would like to follow for yourself.

Something about this unique resource makes me feel like my dreams and goals aren't so intangible after all.

Stop putting your dreams on hold and check out mySomeday today. Creating a profile is as easy as 1+2=3.

Awesome site. I'm becoming totally inspired just looking at what people want to do. I actually built a Plan for starting a non-profit, such a useful exercise.
