Mariah Carey is desperate for a hit single
Poor Mariah Carey! Ever since her publicity stunt wedding to her son, Nick Cannon, things haven't been going quite well for her, professionally speaking. Her singles "Bye Bye," "I Stay in Love," and "I'll Be Lovin' U Long Time" have been bombed on the music charts. Her new single with The Dream, titled My Love, is sinking faster than the Titanic. But there may be help on the way.
Mariah is currently recording a new album and it is rumored that she will duet with Dora the Explorer, the famous Nickelodeon cartoon character, on one of the tracks. "Mariah is a huge fan of Dora and believes that Dora's appearance on the record will attract a lot of kids," the source tells me. "Mariah is very upset that her album E=MC2 bombed (relatively speaking compared to her previous album) and she'll do anything to have a hit again." The proposed song with Dora the Explorer would also feature two rappers.
Even though my source works in the music industry, I have a hard time believing this. No matter how desperate Mariah Carey seems, she is smart enough to realize that something like this could backfire on her. But at least Mariah will have all the dogs on her side; they just love Mariah's high pitched voice!

Perhaps she can deep discount the single, like she did with so many of her other singles, so it could be a hit. Anyhow, I wouldn't doubt the validity of this story since Mariah is a crazy fat loon.
