Did Lamar Odom get a prenup before the wedding?

The whole idea of a prenuptual agreement is that it is signed before a wedding ceremony.

Lakers star Lamar Odom and reality show cast member Khloe Kardashian may have timed their ceremony for the producers of Kardashian's reality show according to TMZ.

And why not, when the bill for the nuptial celebration was reportedly paid by the show in exchange for the chance to air footage from the wedding.

The cost? Merely a cool $1 million.

TMZ also reported that Odom and Kardashian had their lawyers working overtime on prenuptial agreements

Odom's lawyer in particular would be urging the Laker star to get a prenup in the light of his multimillion dollar contract extension with the team. A prenuptial agreement protects earnings of each person before they were married it will remain separate property.

But Odom and Kardashian have a timing problem. California law requires that a draft of the document be available for review at least seven days before it is signed.

There was not enough time for them to review the draft prenup.

That may be the reason that reports circulated to the effect that the wedding ceremony on Sunday was not legally binding.
