Beyonce: "Back off Daddy!"
Beyonce Knowles is finally telling her manager and father, Mathew Knowles, to back off. Mathew has been Beyonce's manager for years and is known to be a "stage dad" who complains to the media every time his daughter doesn't get what she wants. He has rightfully earned the name "Daddy Knowles" and has insisted that his daughter be given writing credits on songs she had nothing to do with, except sing them.
Beyonce is riding very high right now thanks to her chart-topping album, I am.....Sasha Fierce. She has just announced a US Tour. The album and tour have received good reviews so far, thanks to Beyonce's taking a stand against her father. It is rumored that Mathew Knowles wanted Beyonce to record a jazz record instead of the hit record she has now. It is also rumored that Daddy also wanted Beyonce to play venues such as Dodger's Stadium in Los Angeles, Soldier Field in Chicago, and Giants Stadium in New Jersey and charge $200 - $400 a ticket. Most music industry insiders agree that tickets sales would have been disastrous.
I can't wait until Beyonce gets tough and fires her dad as her manager. The guy will do nothing but ruin her career if he continues to act like a stage father. For Christ sake, Beyonce is going to be 28 years old! Luckily, Beyonce hasn't turned into a drug addict or alcoholic like most kids who are mentally abused by their stage parents. Let's all wish Beyonce the best on her new tour.

I do wish Beyonce all the best, & I do want her to fire her dad, because she's a 28 years old married woman & she's been in this game for about 10 years now, I feel like it's time for her to stop beeing mamy & dady little girl, I really wish she could fire him beacuse I wanna see what's she gonna do on her own, I'm sure she will only get better as an artist.
but about the writing thing, that's a big no no! nobody knows what happens in the studio! how can you say Beyonce doesn't write without any proof to back it up? isn't a person innocent until proven guilty! this rumor about Beyonce not writing was started by one of her haters along with may others, her co-writers said she is a good writer, her husband, her producers also, she won an award for her writing! I got every reason in the world to believe she writes.
Obviously her dad knows what he's doing cause he got Beyonce this far. I'm sure Bey has a hand in her writing, why lie? Beyonce is happy with all the fame and fortune her dad has helped her achieve. Take down these rumors you made up.
Matthew Knowles is a shrewd and very aggressive business man. Without him, Beyonce would not have gotten this far. I still believe his aggressiveness is what got her that gig at the Presidential inauguration and all of the spots at the Oscar award shows. Anything to keep her in the spotlight. Beyonce doesn't seem to be smart and if you ever hear her interviews, she has lived a very shallowed and perfect life. I really don't think she would know how to manage her own career without the help of daddy working deals for her and mommy working the acting side of her career. She would be lost. But she is overexposed right now. I just feel that she is going to crack under the pressure to be little ms.Perfect and her desperation to be the all around greatest entertainer.
Isn't karma a beautiful thing! I mean it was cool when Daddy Knowles was wrecking havoc on the lives of Kelly, Michele and even Solange but now that its on B she has the nerve to say something!! She deserves whatever she gets. Just think; what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul?
First, Beyonce is a 28 year old woman, who still has dad as manger. She needs to wake up and smell the coffee. What ever stage daddy wants to do to her she deserve every bit of it.
