US lies (yes, dead-on lies) about war in Iraq, Afghanistan; continues crimes against humanity

LA County Nonpartisan Examiner
Res ipsa loquitur translates in common use as “the facts speak for themselves.” I’m among hundreds of writers who document from our own government’s declassified information that all the reasons to go to war in Iraq and Afghanistan were known to be false at the time they were presented to the American public. Please verify this evidence for yourself here that your government “leaders” of both parties have lied and are lying about war in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The act of war is the most vicious and evil thing a government can do, and is arguably
treason when a government lies to do it, for it is an attack upon
our nation’s values, our Constitution, and destroys the lives of American troops and their families. Among many, my policy response to most effectively end this criminality is
Truth and Reconciliation.
Both the left and right arms of our political duopoly are also lying to expand this illegal War of Aggression into Iran.
Here is my hub article of all related articles regarding war with Iran.
Here is the hub for war in Afghanistan.
Below is a 15-second reminder that Mr. Obama lied about ending current wars during his campaign, and a powerful 10-minute video to communicate the above information through film by the
Paradign Shift (warning: some strong language). As always, please share this article with all who assert their political competence. If you appreciate my work, please subscribe by clicking under the article title (it’s free). Please use my
archive of articles to help build a brighter future.
I respond to comments; feel free to ask questions and share your perspective.

I just don't know what to say to about articles like this. I am no proponent of war but man are you way off in left field. I'm with you in that I see no positive result from the US or Israel attacking the country of Iran, but there are better ways to bring your point across without having to make things up. Your links take me to stuff you wrote. That's not a reference, it's a link back to you pushing your opinion. Do you really believe this stuff? Look, I like anyone else wish they could live in a world free from war and violence. The reality is that there are people out the who who don't see things this way and are hell bent on bringing chaos upon the world. So as long as those people exist, there will be a need for those who would stop them.
Astonished:
My links take you to being walked through the evidence primarily disclosed by Senate and House Committee reports. Are you responsible enough of a citizen to read? Do you care enough about our troops and trillions of our long-term costs?
Yes, there are people bent on bringing chaos; many are in power in the US as evidenced from their illegal invasions based on lies in Iraq and Afghanistan. Yes, there is opportunity to stop them if enough of us look to the evidence rather than whatever it is you do.
Carl Herman,
Well written, balanced. The image with president Johnson's ghost lamenting about his wasted presidency is wonderful.
Barry Hussein Sereto has broken his word about Iraq. Afghanistan is just as much a mistake. Iran will be a bigger one.
Support the troops. Stop the war in the Middle East and bring the the troops home.
Now.
.
I recently went over the September 2000 PNAC report, and after you break it down , is basically a U.S. "Global domination manual," as stated by many reporters. When America comes to terms with reality it should be able to split the spell of living with the contradictions and face up to the terrifying facts.
The PNAC reveals the involute mirage wish list it was based on, like "In broad terms" the PNAC is nothing but a Dick Cheney warfare guide outlined by the Cheney Defense Department in the waning days of Bush 1. It reads like a coded message when you find the right pages, it covers everything from; defense-planning for theater wars/ control cyberspace.. And for the incoming administration 'fashion a national security strategy within 6 months" "defense review three months after that" [ Bush was elected Jan. 20, 2001 , they had it ready to go ]
It goes on about the U.S. airforce being the most flexible on short notice.. The PNAC is no where near complete; "Joint Vision 2010"
I wish I could put down more of the important clues about the terminator mentality of America's defense specialists, but the one single name that can be directly linked to it all is the guy who's father was directly linked to the Third Reich, the U.S. military complex, Big Texas oil, Skull & Bones, the Bay of Pigs, the JFK assassination, CFR, the Trilateral Commission, CIA headquarters, Iran/Contra, the October Surprise, the UN, the war on drugs, Mena (Arkansas), Whitewater, the Carlyle group, the Bin Laden family, the presidency and vice-presidency of the United States, and the "New World (dis) Order" : is George Herbert Walker Bush and his 2nd in command (not the idiot with the goat book on his lap) Dick Cheney and his life long dedication to Halliburton and the privitization of the entire US military, merging with the "global commerce."
the last video below is amazing. Good job. When I heard Amy Goodman's voice, I knew it was a keeper.
Dear Astonished,
I am astonished that you still think that these wars are about some random radicals who are out to bring "chaos upon the world" because they do not agree with the world or have nothing better to do. Where the hell have you been the last 10 years? There have always been radicals because they are made radical by things other people, or countries, do. They are not just out to make chaos in the world for the fun of it. Our corporate media has chosen to give mass credibility to these always-have-been thugs to give the false appearance of a large-scale "war", the GWOT (BS really), so their corporate profiteers have an excuse to use our publicly-funded (aka Socialist) military as their own private army (heck of a deal for the Corporate pigs). Such a shame. I do agree Obama needs to grab his pair and do what he knows is the right thing to do and end it all, but I know he is scared of the repercussions, as the ghost of JFK hovers over and says "be careful."
Bruce, I don't know how you arrived at the conclusion that I believe "these wars" are just about radical fundamentalists. I think I made a general statement that had no chronology attached to it. Besides, I thought we were talking about Iran. The reality is that a vast majority of those I described in my previous post hate America not because of our "freedoms" but because we occupy their land, levy taxes on the goods they have been trading for hundreds of years, and exploit their natural resources. What to do with Iran? Honestly, I don't know. I do however believe Iran's nuclear program is not solely intended for peaceful production of nuclear energy. I also don't believe Iran will ever "launch" a nuclear weapon at Israel in an offensive move. However, having the knowledge to build such a weapon is just as important as the weapon itself. My concern is Iran passing a weapon of this sort to one of it's proxy groups. Don't kid yourself, the ruling party of Iran is not friendly.
I have yet to see this broken word that everyone espouses. We are in a war do we just pull out and leave a mess we created. This is not a abad movie we can just get up and leave in the middle of. It takes time and a slow progression out of and that is exactly what is happening. A hasty retreat could cause much larger problems down the road as could staying too long so I believe the measured approach is correct.
Your articles are provocative, but I disagree with most of what you write mostly because your "facts" are wrong. We are free to disagree about policies etc., but if we cannot agree on facts where does this leave us? I can be contacted at mcpthx1138@aol.com
Wars:
Go to the one link I give to read the evidence for yourself of this broken word. The place to start is public knowledge and action that these are illegal Wars of Aggression. Because our government has criminally invaded, other voices need to guide how the US leaves.
Mike Phelps:
You can post more than once. If you say the facts I document proving these wars were perpetrated from lies that were known to be lies at the time they were told are somehow incorrect and/or incomplete, prove it here. My documentation is public. With all respect, show your evidence or your word is worse than worthless as it wastes our time. I do agree that democracy is about helping each other get to the facts and then welcoming diverse interpretations and policy positions.
Very well thought-out and thought-provoking article, Carl.
NO MATTER HOW MANY LIES THAT YOU POST, NO MATTER HOW MANY LINKS THAT YOU SHOW, YOU ARE STILL A COMMUNIST THAT HUGS ALL THE TERORISTS, AND LOVES HAMAS AND TEROR GROUPS. IT'S WHAT I EXPECT FROM SOMEBODY LIKE YOU. I SEE THATTHE PALESTINIAN NEWS NETWORK REPLY WAS DELTED BY YOU-ARE YOU AFRAID TO SHOW EVERYONE WHO YOU REALLY ARE--COWARD!
Could you explain why you as a american are so much in love with gaza terrorists, and hate america so much Carl?
I bet you hate Jews too!
Way to go COMRADE. The people of communism love your solid stance against your country. We have a place for you, here among us comrade. Together we shallrule the unwashed people of the great satan, conquering and enslaving them until they are no more
Where are the photo permissions?
Did you take this picture of the prez all by yourself, or are you denying the photographer his/her right...Hmmm sounds like something you would do deny somebody's right
You are a disgusting PIG!
Get a real job because you are failing at this one badly!
Wah, Unified, Toby, Carl Marx, and Abigal:
You Psyops folks just start your shift? Probably had a briefing meeting before, cause its kind of late in the morning. The level of propaganda you offer is ad hominem, name calling. The link I provide walks anyone interested through the evidence. You will never address the evidence, because the evidence is solid and acknowledged as fact from our own House and Senate Committee reports.
Choose carefully if you really want the fascism that youre acting for. If you are Psyops, remember that real Americans do not just follow orders. Real Americans honor their oath to defend and protect the US Constitution. The future you help build will be what you have, and your posterity.
Concerned:
My bad. I fixed it with the credit. I apologize. Thank you for pointing it out.
Carl, it's not the readers or my job to do fact checking for you. I won't go so far as to call you a journalist because your not. I appreciate what your doing, we need more people out there questioning our Government, but what you're doing is called propaganda. I tried once more to follow the links you claim are proof and all I keep coming up with is links to articles you yourself have written. You need to be a bit more clear on what type of piece you're writing. This isn't news, this is an Op-Ed at best. There are really no right answers at this point. Although I am no fan of the war in Iraq, I don't believe that simply packing up and leaving is a viable alternative. Regardless of who started it, we elect those who we believe have the ability to deal with it. Blame will get you nowhere. The truth is Carl, Iran and it's current regime are a danger. We can argue this point endlessly but reality is reality. The bottom line is you are horribly misinformed.
Astonished:
This sentence in the article,
"Please verify this evidence for yourself here that your government leaders of both parties have lied and are lying about war in Iraq and Afghanistan." leads to the article titled, "Are US wars in Iraq and Afghanistan well-intended mistakes? What we now know from the evidence."
Did you read the article that summarizes the evidence, mostly from our own House and Senate Committee reports? That summary links to my brief that has all the documentation. Read that and then we'll talk.
The reality is that you haven't read what's right in front of you. Don't waste our time until you've done the reading to know what you're talking about. You insult my work without having read it. THAT'S propaganda.
Continued Look at the men and women in service who have been killed, crippled, psychologically destroyed from these lies that put them in harms way and hurt their families so badly. You know of the people around you who think and feel the same. Americans do not just follow orders. Americans protect and defend the US Constitution. Your and my relatives crushed the following orders excuse 60 years ago as reprehensible behavior. Choose your future carefully; you have the wisdom and courage within you to see youve been played. Act well your part.
Psyops Wah, Unified, Toby, Carl Marx, Concerned and Abigal (were you trying for Abigail?):
It does sound from your collective tone that you came from a nasty brief where you were told people like me, who just point to verifiable facts, American values of inalienable rights and the US Constitution, are somehow the enemy. You are being used, my fellow patriots. Is this what you signed-up for? Do you remember your oath to protect and defend the Constitution? To fulfill your oath does take some homework to understand it and identify attacks against it, both foreign and domestic. Its hard to have the moral courage to defy an illegal order that supports illegal wars, but that is what you swore to do. The enemies are the higher-up tools in the civilian leadership who denigrate your service by having you attack academics like me who work to reveal the facts. Again, these facts in this case are conservatively reported by our own Congress. Continued
Fair enough,I still can't find what you're talking about but I will say this; I'm not attacking you for what you're doing, it's a necessary part of ANY democratic society. No one should EVER take what politicians say to them as absolute truth and should always investigate what's said for themselves.I just think you're wrong about Iran. I will however give you credit for debating this as opposed to just blowing off those who have commented here.Like I said, I appreciate what your doing and you are a necessary part of our media industry.I think we can agree to disagree (on Iran) and leave it at that.I am of the belief that defeating terrorism cannot be achieved through military means. You can't shoot an idea or ideology and when you do it becomes worse.I think"these wars"are near pointless and will likely result in the death of more American soldiers and civilians alike. But the reality is that we are there and no matter who is to blame, we need to find a graceful, honorable way to leave.
Astonished:
It's the link in the first paragraph. Regarding Iran, if you believe in the rule of law, Iran is allowed nuclear energy and will be under complete inspection. If you stand for inalienable rights, we MUST treat them with full dignity, justice, cooperation and freedom under the law.
Mr Herman- Way to handle those sockpuppets, LOL! You know you're getting to the truth when they're out in force! As it was boiled down to me; the Afgh. was for opium, the Iraq for oil. In the end it always boils down to the money...
Keep digging:
Thanks :)
Hey, are you into Project Camelot and wanttoknow.info? These two sites are my favorites for trying to get to the bottom of what's happening. We can't know for sure; there are so many claims to verify, but those help guide me for my evolving hypotheses.
