Financial expert Gerald Celente: American public losing everything to fascist oligarchs

We hold these Truths to be self-evident...

Gerald Celente is one of the world’s best trend forecasters. In the following 4-part radio interview, Celente blasts current political and economic “leadership” as beholden to large corporate and financial interests. As I’ve documented, professionals who work with economics are using unprecedented harsh language in attempt to get Americans’ attention to the loss of trillions of our collective dollars. His comments include (paraphrased):

  • “Too big to fail” banks are anathema to real capitalism.
  • US economy is like a ruthless mafia ripping-off the American public. The US is being looted.
  • US economy is no longer capitalism, it’s oligarchies and fascism.
  • We are witnessing the greatest heist in American history, and the banks are doing it.
  • “I don’t like getting raped. I don’t like my money going to Goldman Sachs.”
  • “Do you have eyes to see and a mind to understand? These crimes are an affront to my intelligence.”
  • Bankers are money junkies lying to get their money fix. We have a criminal gang of money junkies dealing scams to get money from us. They never have enough. And for what? For gambling.
  • This is no different from the French Revolution.
  • The money junkies are in for a shock. The second American Revolution has begun.
  • They are not my political leaders; they are political hacks. We are going back to royalty and serfs.
  • This country doesn’t have a clue what’s going on, their minds have been deadened looking at presidential reality shows and bowing to political demagogues. What people have to do more than ever is think for themselves.

And reform is not on the way. Senator Bird's "reform" bill is nothing but empty rhetoric. My favorite economic analyst, Washington's Blog, gives a great overview. One helpful context to consider is the American economy is suffering from parasites.

    Lots of good comments.

    My favorite is:
"US economy is like a ruthless mafia ripping-off the American public. The US is being looted."

"Too big to fail" really means "too big to exist."

I call it the Wall Street Cosa Nostra.

Gerald is a gentleman and a man of honor, who hasn't even begun to use the terminology he would like to use for the corrupt politicians, Wall Street criminals, and elites that are tearing this nation to apart to benefit themselves and only themselves. IN THE MEANTIME, ALL THAT CAN BE SAID ABOUT MOST OF US AMERICANS IS,"STUPID IS AS STUPID DOES". PERIOD!!

Dude should have quit while he was ahead. I was with him until he started in with Bush and the Iraq war. When he moved on to genetically modified food he went from hero to zero in my book.

    Joe P:
Dude, you say that you can follow economics but won't look at the facts of the war in Iraq? Why is that? And because you don't understand what he says about GM food, that discounts what you claim to have understood in economics?

    Dude!

You should stick to discussing what he has to say about economics/finance, if you can.

Gee, I thought the problem was "socialism." Isn't that what everybody's saying? What's this "fascism?"

"Oligarchs?" No way. Call them MARXISTS! Right?

Rushmore: The fire departments are socialized; that's not a problem. The economic question in any area is whether we want regulated free market capitalism or centrally managed goods/services. The problem we have is unregulated finance that has devolved into fraudulent market manipulation.

You should look up fascism and oligarchy to understand what they mean. If you're listening to the "mainstream media" regarding generic fear of socialism, you need to do your own research and thinking.

There are VAST misconceptions in the American understanding of political faction.

Mark Levin has the essence captured in the title of his book "Liberty and Tyranny". Liberty in short form means freedom OF as well freedom FROM. Free to pursue vocations, thoughts, life plans as long as they don't prevent the same freedoms of others, or that the execution of ones vocations, thoughts and plans are NOT predicated on the wilful harming of others.

But there is great confusion about Fascism vs Communism, Oligarchies vs Socialism etc. Societies are free or they are not to degrees. On the one side of maximal freedom is our (former) Representative Republic. On the other is a GRADATION of lessor forms of Tyranny. A Fascist Dictatorship is not very Different from a Monarchy. Socialism is a PART of Communism as is DEMOCRACY.Does the Rule of 51 over 49 make sense? Oligarchies and Corporatism thrive under Fascism. When the Banks own virtually everything there is no difference with Communism.

    Bobby,
A lot of Good Americans seriously don't know what to do. Voting doesn't seem to work. People are lied to and it takes election cycles to recover. Calling, faxing, Town Hall meetings and Tea Parties are ALL ignored.

Rallies aren't reported on by the MSM. There are literally NO friends of the Good Americans who looking around in disbelief. On the one hand the ENTIRE Banking fraud is now on their and their kids and grandkids shoulders. Then People make comments like yours as if to say "and you're to blame for the Criminal Dismantling of the country too".

Give them a plan of action....don't just criticize out of frustration.

onewhoknows, thanks for the input, but I believe most Americans know what we must do, we just won't do it. We can't move out of our comfort zones. Golf is more fun, watching Oprah is pleasant, etc. We find a million and one ways to sublimate our problems and think we are accomplishing something. Then their are those Americans among us who don't really care about the guy or girl down the street, whether they lost their jobs or not do to Wall Street criminality and the politicians, including Obama that allow it. We keep lazily voting in the same traitors, because, doggonit, MY GRANDPA WAS A DEMOCRAT, MY FATHER WAS A DEMOCRAT,(OR REPUBLICAN,ETC) AND I'M ONE. That doesn't work anymore. We need to vote on the issues, not for a certain party, if that party is damaging our family friends and loved ones. It's called giving up being selfish and self-centered, you know, I got mine and to hell with the guy/girl down the street, in the next state, etc. The fate of our friends is going to be ours.

    Please sign the petition!

Petition to Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner

Too Big to Fail is Too Big to Exist

Financial institutions that are “too big to fail” played a major role in undermining the American economy and driving our country into a severe recession.

Financial institutions that are “too big to fail” put taxpayers on the hook for a $700 billion bailout and more than $2 trillion from the Federal Reserve in virtually zero interest loans.

We urge the immediate enactment of the Too Big to Fail, Too Big to Exist Act, which directs the treasury secretary to compile a list of those financial institutions that are too big to fail in the next 90 days, and to break up these banks and insurance companies a year after the legislation is signed into law.

    @Bobby and Kevin;

Bobby...There ARE people who make $$$$ and give and volunteer on a continual basis. About the Golf however I agree with you.LOL

But The voting cycle almost seems to work against us, and I SAW THE ENERGY of this summers Town Hall meetings first hand. What are we (all of us ) to do if they don't do as promised. Well the system says we have to wait 2, 4, or whatever years. People are frustrated and fatalistic ,they are not all "just don't give a S*** about their neighbors", Yes some are. But there needs to be some Plan Of Action for those that DO care.

Kevin...Would you condem ALL because of $$$$ or only those that enacted and then carried out the Bailout policies etc..?? The Powers That Be have already enacted legislation to declare Martial Law with The Patriot Act , Homeland Security etc.. Do you remember how quckly they were put in place? Like they had been already written!! There needs to be ORGANIZATION but not violence.IMO
