We hold these Truths to be self-evident...
A false flag attack is a military operation that includes a nation attacking itself disguised as an attack coming from another nation. The purpose of a false flag attack is propaganda for public support for war on a chosen target. The best known historical example is Nazi Germany’s attack on Poland under Operation Himmler.
If US “leadership” is committed to war with Iran, a predictable strategy is false flag. This would involve a US target being attacked, US lives lost, outraged political rhetoric, media propaganda, and a “defensive” US military action.
Former National Security Advisor and founding member of the Trilateral Commission Zbigniew Brzezinski warned the Senate Foreign Relations Committee in 2007 that this is possible to begin war with Iran. He described a "plausible scenario for a military collision with Iran," which would include "some provocation in Iraq or a terrorist act in the US blamed on Iran, culminating in a ‘defensive’ US military action against Iran that plunges a lonely America into a spreading and deepening quagmire eventually ranging across Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan.”
The Council on Foreign Relations repeated this warning in 2007. Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Seymour Hersh described in 2008 plans then Vice President Dick Cheney considered for a false flag attack to justify US attack upon Iran. The planning of such a War of Aggression is a Crime Against Peace under the London Charter and also illegal by the UN Charter.

I’ve previously documented the two principle fears some Americans espouse with Iran and threaten war to prove beyond doubt they are without basis in fact:
- Iran’s nuclear energy program is in compliance with international treaty, fully inspected with all evidence showing energy-use only, and all US intelligence agencies in agreement of zero evident threat of nuclear weapon production. The US is out of compliance by refusing to help Iran achieve nuclear energy and accept inspections to ensure safety.
- Iranian President Ahmadinejad’s statements toward Israel have been contrived by US political “leaders” from both parties and the corporate media as a threat when the text and context of the speech clearly and verifiably show only interest in an Israeli government that respects the rights of Palestinians. This means Americans are being lied to from their political leadership and media, just as we were lied to about Iraq. Please let that sink in.
Please verify these two facts to your satisfaction. I’ve also documented that the US overthrew Iran’s democracy from 1953 until 1979; denied by the US government until 2000, but now conservative and unchallenged history. The US aided Iraq’s invasion of Iran from 1980 to 1988, supplying chemical and biological weapons to kill Iranians defending their nation, and US military attacked and destroyed Iranian oil platforms and a commercial airliner. I've also written the facts in a story as if the US were in Iran's position.

Another excellent article. If more people become aware of the lies, maybe the government will refrain from doing it? I wish.
I believe that part of the issue with the Iranian nuclear project is that they are insisting on making a reactor using older, less efficient technology, which yields weapons-grade nuclear material as a by-product. The US and other nations in the UN have offered to help Iran to construct a nuclear plant using the more efficient technology, but the Iranians refused. I do not know the terms of the offer, but I will try to find a source, as I can't remember where I read this. Of course, that doesn't eliminate the possibility of a false-flag attack to muster support for yet another war.
I'm sorry, but are you insane? The Iranian leader stated in a speech before the UN just a month ago that Israel is an enemy of all mankind and deserves to be destroyed. Did your news network not broadcast that speech? Did you not read the NY Times, Washington Post, and USA Today reprints of AP article discussing the speech?

I don't know about the nuclear energy program. I do know he has "accepted" IAEA inspections but every time they show up at the border he denies them entry.
I also know, for a fact, that both the CIA and MI-5 have "grave concerns" about the recent deal with Russia to further purify the products of Iranian centrifuges.
I would not support an invasion of Iran, but that does not mean the current regime is harmless.

1. Ok, I'll bite: provide the quote you allege from the speech after you've read the speech and understand the context. Then we can discuss the accuracy of your summation.
2. You admit the “wipe Israel off the map” comment is pure propaganda??? Read that and confirm before answering and explain your reasoning.
3. IAEA confirms NPT compliance by Iran. Additional protocol is a more complicated subject that I discuss in other articles. You should brief yourself on this issue of NPT. If the US would accept IAEA monitoring, NPT has a perfect track record of safety in all countries since the 1960s. That destroys “grave concerns” because all facilities are fully checked.
4. Do you agree that the history of the US violent intervention in Iran from 1953-1979 and 1980-1988 shows the US has invaded Iran and has the history to distrust?
False flag is a simple concept, yet you do not get it. It is an operation undertaken under someone else's flag. You kinda blow your credibility in a very big way by screwing up this simple concept.
It is true that war with Iran may be provoked by a false flag operation, but not likely. Neither the US nor its allies have designs on Iran. No one wants to conquer the country. The military objective of any war would be limited, very limited. The objective of an attack would be to cripple its nascent nukes. It would be a strike, not an invasion. It would require surprise. A false flag operation would let Iran know by full page ad in the Sunday paper that it would be attacked soon.

I believe as you say "Both are political pimps of the Banksters". But not about Truth and Reconciliation. It never works. History is replete with examples of criminals getting off. I think one lesson that can be learned is that we cannot let crimes go unpunished because it is still with us(collectively). There must be justice, or those wronged...their progeny, and what have, will carry the pain etc into all of our futures. Issues MUST be delt with in Situ or a cycle begins.

Michael..part of the whole blog scene is the interaction. Also people send links to articles and blogs they agree with. In a way it helps to read and have brief correspondence with like minded bloggers. Also you get to see "the Enemy" by their comments too. The Kind of 'reporting" you're advocating is going back to the way the MSM has been doing it for Hundreds of years.
In addition it is pretty obvious that posters on the comments sections often have dialogue with or comment on the Comments.

No false flag against Iran necessary - here's why: we've got Iran surrounded and it's not practicable. The NATO presence in Afghanistan is about to be increased. In accordance with the the Carter Doctrine, the US has ample naval resources protecting the Persian Gulf and the Middle East as part of it's national security policy. Iran is a red herring at this point. Remember that the elites in Washington subscribe fully to the old British model of Sir Halford Mackinder as reiterated in Brzezinski's
"Grand Chessboard" circa 1997. The key is to preclude any cooperative Asian actor from cohesion to challenge the US dominance to rule the "World Island" aka Eurasia. As much as the mainstream media shies away from this reality, it is indeed the case and it makes sense. Tilting with Iran is a proxy battle between the US and Russia for position and influence in the Caucasus.

I went to Swanson's site(.org) and I listened to a couple of videos. He's interesting (from Philly I take it..I know philly well). I was glad to hear him mention that we are a Constitutional Republic. I'm not sure about Amending the Constitution though. It seems that too many of the Amendments have had "dubious" positive affect for the majority of citizens. For instance The Federal Reserve, Income tax, IRS.
But I have saved him to my favorites. To me the issue of The Patriot Act was one of the Worst things to come from Bush/Cheney. And I am rather surprised that neither the left nor theright hasn't Strongly tackled it as a major issue of concern. I consider myself a Conservative and I am very wary of Single Issue Political stances. The whole Abortion platform of the religious right and the Iraq War issue on the left as examples. I was drawn to your articles because of their focus on this Criminal Banking we have. It is a more central + PIVOTAL issue. One with great leverage

I agree 100% BOTH sides want this socialist control as evidenced in The Patriot Act and others you mentioned. Confronting the Central Banking/Fed Reserve issue is pivotal because it deals with finance and political power and agenda ALL at the same time. It also exposes the History of those agendas. Whereas a purely political platform is like say abortion can very easily be deflected into 'personal choice' or 'religious'issues. Important yes but quickly dissipates focus from more central points which could if pursued lead to systemic changes getting at the heart of central control.
