Hannity calls Ron Paul supporters nuts, extremists, says military complex gives us freedom of speech

In response to the previous article Sean Hannity continues demonization of Ron Paul, calling his supporters crazy , youtube poster SaveOurSovereignty3 has posted the full audio of the Ron Paul caller, George from Chicago, who managed to orchestrate a skillful masterpiece in calling Hannity out for being a "spokesman for the merchants of death". Hannity had  called Ron Paul nuts a few weeks ago while interviewing Chuck Norris, and had smeared Ron Paul continuously during the 2008 presidential campaign, claiming that the 9/11 Commission report and CIA admissions were 'conspiracy theories'.

Hannity began the Monday, December 14th, 2009 segment by reading an article about a bill sponsored by Ron Paul, not missing a chance to denigrate Congressman Paul and his "followers":

Hannity: "'A Republican and Democrat have put forward legislation that would rescind the automatic pay increase lawmakers are slated to recieve in 2011'Ron Paul- yes- and by the way some of Ron Paul's followers are nuts but Ron Paul I like him , I like him a lot of the times. We got
George in Chicago WLS , George hi."

George: "Hi Sean, maybe President Obama should stuff you into a bunker and call you an ememy cobmatant..." Sean laughs and they then proceed to have a discussion about Khalid Sheik Mohammed, with the caller continuing "if you concede that the federal government can hold whomever they want then youre conceding that President Obama can hold you and [Mark] Levin and throw you guys in a bunker and call you enemy combatants."

Hannity: "Are we gonna be held in the same bunker or do I get my own private bunker?"

George: "I dont know, but you should check out Sibel Edmonds, who that guy was just talking about before you..

Hannity immediately cuts off the caller's reference to Edmonds and begins discussing military tribunals , with the caller skillfully interrupting "..yeah and we have the most corrupt govenrment in the world, the biggest world empire.. and you're a violent imperialist."

Hannity: "I'm a violent what? Whats violent about me?

George: "Because you love death destruction and murder, you're a spokesman for the merchants of death Sean Hannity. The military industrial complex owns you- it's time to wake up and be a Ron Paul Republican".

Hannity: "What is the military industrial complex?

George: "Raytheon G.E., I could go on and on with all the- Northrup Grumman, I mean you can go on and on, you act like the pentagon isn't the biggest socialist part of our government Sean."

Hannity: "They own me; is that what youre saying?"

George: "You're a spokesman for the merchants of death."

Hannity: "I'm a 'spokesman for the merchants of death'. And what do you suggest that we do, do we not have a national defense?

George: "Certainly, but they shouldn't be controlling our government the way they do now".

The caller continues to lead the dicsussion by bringing up big corporate welfare.

George: "You think Raytheon is free? Do you think those guys don't get massive tax benefits?

Hannity: "I think the fact that we have great companies that create great, uh, defense weapons that keep us safe is fantastic. yeah, i think its wonderful. So I'm part of the industrial military complex that you discuss. Because I believe in security and safety and liberty and freedom and everything else that is associated with it.

"Folks, Ron Paul for president, trust me. This is.. this .. this is part of what you get. and i like Ron Paul, and Ron Paul's right on a few things. but he's not right.. some of his followers are nuts. uh.. yes that will get a lot of play.

"Folks this is where my buddy Neal Boortz  gets into trouble. Neal Boortz says he's for a national defense and he is for the war on terror, and he's excoriated by members of the libertarian party when he single-handedly has done more to advance libertarianism for the last 30 years than anybody I know.

"And it's sad that you get these quote extremists that fundamentally dont understand that they dont even have freedom of speech but for a military complex".

So much for Hannity. I find it odd that as a Conservative all I had to look forward to from Rush AND Hannity was "The November 2010 elections and God forbid a 3rd party". November 2010 is WAY too late. and we keep voting in the same Republican scumbags along with the Democratic Scumbags.

The combination of our blindly following the Dem-Rep two party charade and counting on "voting" to change things has gotten us NOWHERE!!!!! Correction it has gotten us less than Zero! How the F--- bad can a 3rd party be than THIS!!!

Now I know that there are people that will say “We cannot split the vote but I like what you have to say” or “ A third party candidate doesn’t stand a chance” or “ I will not be able to get even footing against my competition”

What if I had a plan to show that there is enough support for me to WIN?

Well today is your lucky day because I have a plan to overcome the objections above. If I can get 2,000,000 subscribers to my weekly campaign newsletter that would consider voting for me it would get me the even footing that I need.

IMHO, why just a third party? For that matter, why any party? We really have only one party because they act the same regardless of what they call themselves. None of them (save for Ron Paul) defend or support the Constitution and that is why we, today, don't have the freedom and liberty spoken of in that venerable document. They all, with exception of one, are the touchy/feely critters that spend us into oblivion, collect their massive pay checks with automatic pay increases, avail themselves to the perks of government and the lobbyists, almost never lose money in the stock market and set themselves up for a very lucreative post-government career after looting the taxpayer. It should be clear to everyone here on this topic that our vote is a useless exercise in futility. Some body of elites run whoever is elected. Nothing ever gets done the Constitutional way and that is why Ron Paul is so often on the loosing end of legislation he proposes even with 317 cosponsors.

Hannity is a foolish neocon. He thinks calling himself a "Reagan Republican" is some great honor. Mr. Reagan was a HUGE government spender who created unprecendented debt, dramatically increased foreign aid, the costly (both in money and liberty) war on drugs, doubled the Depts. of Energy and Education after vowing to eliminate them while running for president, increased trade barriers and dramatically increased the federal workforce.
Little is truly conservative about Sean Hannity. He is only conservative in the Kristol version of conservatism.

Little Mr. Hannity is a moron. He's really too stupid to engage in a conversation. He started in Atlanta and I heard his first conversation with Newtie Fraud Gingrich. I thought that little Sean would wet his pants. He truly knows nothing. He's a parrot. If that other jerk Limbaugh says something, he accepts it as gospel. Now he thinks he's smart, too. Incredible, you couldn't write this stuff. As for Boortz being a "libertarian", it would be like calling me a vegetarian because I don't eat meat on Friday. BUT Mark Levin is right about the 1st amendment and other constitutional issues. I have found profound censorship on Liberal Websites and Blogs. In addition to the MSM and all we know about how they trash EVERYTHING Conservative and lie and Bias the their reporting.

Libertarian means Pro-Defense, not Pro-Surrender. We Libertarians fiercely oppose Islamo-Fascism and support the Military. We come from Goldwater, Ayn Rand, and Milton Friedman all three who supported a strong policy against the Soviet Union.

That's the true price of freedom, something Sean has a hard to admitting, that in a free country you're going to hear, and see, things you don't like. If you or I haven't the freedom to say, "No", then what imaginary "freedoms" does Sean and his ilk pretend to defend? Look folks, Sean Hannity will "never" allow the truth to sink in if it exposes anything dirty about the party he has undying loyalty towards which is the Republican Party. He doesn't get it that both parties have become one in the same. The republicans may holler once in awhile that they are for this or they are for that, but truth be told.........anyone who dismisses the constitution as a way to run our government, is not being truthful when they say they love freedom, liberty & all the benefits that go with it. This is the same Sean Hannity that thought George Bush could do no wrong....so what do you expect him to be like? Why do you think he has the same old retreads on his show all the time? The Hannity's, Gingrich's, North's, Rove's, Cheney's and William Kristol's of the world have one thing in common. They will not let anything get in the way of their agenda. Just look up the PNAC and see who authored it and what it's purpose was. Ron Paul represents everything they despise.

I don't understand how someone like Dondero can equate "Libertarian" with a sense of identical unity - to the point of telling dissenters from HIS view on foreign policy to "get out". The essence of libertarianism, the heart of Libertarianism (cap-L), is non-aggression - totally antipodal to this "take my top-down orders or get lost" attitude and the stationing of US troops in more than 170 countries worldwide (as boasted weekly during statist NFL broadcasts).

If that is libertarianism, I'd like to station some of my own heavily armed watchmen and killer drones on Dondero's property 24/7. For my own self defense, of course.
