Kristen Stewart has been the featured guest in an inestimable number of interviews lately, and despite that fact, this one that she did with Entertainment Tonight brings some new insight into Stewart's mental process in being a Twilight star.
For starters, Stewart reveals a few details about her hair and how the cut was done to bring about the Joan Jett look. Then, she talks about her co-stars Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner - as compared to one another and to her self. Interestingly enough, Stewart draws a distinct comparison between the actual nature of the two and that of their on-screen personas. Needless to say, this proves to be a great segue into how Stewart was able to successfully transition from The Twilight Saga: New Moon to The Runaways and then back to The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.
All in all, a very nice interview.

She's so level-headed and intelligent. And I completely agree with her -- there's no point in her fessing up to whether or not she's with Rob, because it's not like the furor would die down. If anything, it would just get worse. She's entitled to her privacy!

Awesome interview. Kristen has really matured and so much more at ease with all the questions about her career and life. We need to remember she's only 19 and her life changed overnight with all the media attention. I love her attitude and honesty & respect her for wanting to keep some things to herself.
