World Wide Knit in Public day is the largest knitter run event in the world. It takes place from the second Saturday to the third Sunday in June of each year. This year’s celebration falls between...
Jenny Malchow grew up in Eureka Valley amongst non-knitting folk. They did not knit and they did not write. Learning to write was easy. They teach that in school. Learning to knit was hard. Her mother and grandmother taught her to fix a vodka/tonic and after that she was on her own. Just like with the birds and the bees, Jenny turned to a how-to book. But teaching yourself to knit is tricky. It took a long time, but once she got it there was no stopping her.
And now her two loves: writing and knitting have come together at Examiner.com.
