Holiday traditions bring special meaning to our celebrations and make them festive. Traditions can involve food, music, decorations, stories, etc. A fun holiday activity for kids is to choose words from various traditions/celebrations and interpret them through pantomimed movements. Here are some ideas for the holiday season:
Move as if you are: a bell, a melting candle, a doll or stuffed animal, marshmallows floating on hot chocolate, an ice skater, a spinning Dreidel, a twinkling star, a reindeer, a melting snowman, a toy train, a jack in the box, etc.
