John Calipari is his own biggest fan

New Kentucky head basketball coach John Calipari hasn’t slowed down since his arrival to the school just months ago. That said arrival swept the state of Kentucky by storm and put UK back in the college basketball spotlight. Much of that has to do with the new coach who is his own biggest self-promoter.

With the launch of his new, other-worldly website, Coach Cal is able to bring even more attention to himself. Www.coachcal.com has it all.

The new website allows fans and readers alike to get a look into John Calipari’s life, as he looks to turn around a program riddled with inconsistencies for several years.

The website/blog brings a blend of personal Calipari excerpts, as well as videos and feedback regarding important UK, John Calipari events. The head coach offers several summer basketball camps for younger kids, teaching them the fundamentals of not just basketball but also life. Calipari focuses his attention on not only the ones around him (players, coaches, and friends) but also himself.

And why shouldn’t he?

The opportunity to coach at UK was his biggest fantasy. A dream conjured up when he was a head coach at UMass. Now, as the new head coach of the University of Kentucky, John Calipari allows his fans to get a closer look at who he is as a person and how he will run things around campus. If you can’t tell how excited our new head coach is, then you haven’t been watching television, read a sports magazine, visited www.espn.com, or hell, even been alive for the past four months.

The entire nation has their eyes on the UK basketball program. Solid returning players, a great recruiting class, and a new, intense passion for success has allowed John Calipari to get to the point he’s at. The excitement is back and fans are ready to see the fruits of Calipari’s labor.

You stupid fool. Coach Cal is the picture of what a basketball coach should be. He can build a program from a pile of junk to a final four team. But you but monkeys in the press want to crap on him. Get your facts straight. The man is one of the most charitable human beings in college sports!!!

A lot of coaches have their own websites, see Rick Pitino -- another excellent coach. In fact if I have the choice of the two I take Cal!!!

And I am sick of hearing about the Camby bullshit at UMass that Cal had nothing to do with -- It was a guy from Hartford that gave him the gold chain. And the BS about Cal procuring prostitutes for Camby -- wrong again it was the same Connecticut piece of crap. In fact she wasn't technically a prostitute, but after servicing Marcus the agent jerk gave her free rent as she was a tenant of the bastard.

You want to crap on a coach that cheats look no further than coach Calgoon at UConn. Evidence is he sent recruiting texts during restrictd p

Dude, what are you talking about? I never once bashed my OWN head coach or said he wasn't charitable or anything that you stated in your comments.
Rather, supported the idea of the website as it encourages everyone to rally around team and community.
When did I mention Camby? Or prostitues, or UConn?
    Exactly. Never.
Please save face, and don't make garbage comments like this on my page.
    Thanks
