Connect with Kindred Spirits
By connecting with people who share your goals and ideals, you ultimately empower yourself. I find that when I am with kindred spirits, I am more positive about myself, and my goals. It’s easier to focus on generating positive karma when the vibration of the people around you is higher.
Throughout my life, I have encountered people who don’t want me to succeed, for whatever reason. The reasons for their counter-intentions are not my concern. I could waste a lot of time trying to unearth motivations that will never be revealed or understood.
Overcoming the negativity of others takes a great deal of energy and diverts me from my goals. Identify and avoid these people.
By gathering and networking with kindred spirits, we support one another in our goal of raising consciousness, ending violence, and hopefully finding better ways to co-exist.

Oh! I am glad to find you here. And I so agree about the uplifting effect of kindred spirits. But I can't agree with you about avoiding those whom we perceive as negative. There are karmic lessons in there -- for both sides. And often, those people may be in need and if we are patient, sometimes we can help. Just my thoughts. Again, nice to see you here. <3
Thank you so much for your post. I absolutely agree that there may be a karmic reason for negative people to enter our lives. Then we have a choice. We can spend time trying to minimize their negative influence and hope to help them in the process, or avoid them and their unpleasant influence to work with kindred spirits who want to improve.
I'm not saying they are bad or unworthy... they just are ready and I want to stay focused on my goals. If the "negative" people want to use their free will to make new, more positive choices, then I will find the time to help them.
I've spent a great deal of time trying to help people who really didn't want help. I was hoping to “help” them change their behavior or attitudes about whatever I considered unhealthy. Dysfunction junction meets waste of time.
For some of us our highest purpose can be served by helping those who really want the help. Life is a precious resource and I choose to spend it on people who want to grow and expand.
