1. Some members of the Kansas City Royal's baseball team came and visited the Wizard's at practice earlier this week. Royals pitchers Bruce Chen and Jamey Wright each took some penalty kicks on their visit. Later, several Wizards, including Jimmy Conrad and Davy Arnaud, went to Kauffman Stadium to hit batting practice and shag some fly blls. 2. Two of the most popular and renowned Mexican soccer teams are coming to Kansas City. Club America and Club Deportivo Guadalajara S.A. de C.V. (Chivas), will renew their rivilary on Wednesday, Sept. 16 at Arrowhead Stadium. The game, announced today by Soccer United Marketing, Saral, the Kansas City Wizards and Kansas City Chiefs, will start at 8:30 p.m. (central time) with ticket prices starting at $25.
3. One of goalie Kevin Hartman's record setting saves this past weekend is up for the MLS "Save of the Week". To vote, follow this link. Voting closes at 2 p.m. ET on Thursday, with the winner being announced later. Hartman became the first goalkeeper in MLS history this past Saturday to reach 1200 saves.
