Creation is continous is it not? The world and all that all is being constantly renewed.
If a tree falls in the forest and no one sees it does it fall and make a sound?
Of course it does because Hashem sees it and hears it. We are never alone and despite our best efforts sometimes to the contrary we are always connected.
The answer lies here in the Sepher Yetzirah
Chapter Two 1: 'Ten Sefirot out of nothing. Ten and not nine, ten and not eleven. Understand in Wisdom and be wise in Understanding. Examine them, investigate them, think clearly and form. Place the word above its creator and reinstate a Creator upon His foundation;'
Work backwards from this saying linked inextriquably with the ten sayings both at the beginning of creation and through matan Torah that we read this week.
There are no coincidences. We consider these things because their focus has been raised upon us and is now coming through us.
"reinstate the Creator upon his foundation."
Can it be any clearer? 'Understand in wisdom and be wise in understanding.'
Yes cause and effect but even more than this the example of ripples on a lake and the waves that appear on the shore.
The soft effect you speak of is the subtle cause known as thought raised on high giving itself up to the above as Hashem comes through.
Who will take ownership here? Who will thereby 'reinstate the Creator upon his foundation?
I am will and does continuously bring into being all that we experience.
You see a rose and say its red and we agree upon red but neither of us can ever be totally sure of what the other is experiencing as a red rose. For example with that same rose one may feel beauty or a song is called to mind while another dissects its features, the petals, the stamen, etc.
Communication then is our connection to each other. How much more so is this in place with heaven above, with HaKodesh Barachu. And how much more are we unsure of what to say and what to hear. All of this is ameliorated here.
Sepher Yetzirah: II: 6. The proof of this is revealed in the universe, the year and the soul. The universe is calculated according to ten:
Understand that the very communication we employ today is the same raised on high in order to bring the world into being. This was how that which was is and always will be comes to know itself. Then there are the extensions of this knowing symbolized by the ten sephiroth
Chapter 1: 2. Ten Sefirot out of nothing according to the number of the ten digits [fingers and toes], which are five against five and a single covenant to be determined in the center.
What is this single covenant? It is the world that is constantly coming into being and even more than this it is that being recognizing itself eternally within all, above all and through all.
So you see it really doesn't matter what 'they' do to this world since a cursory examination will always prove illusory. If you find yourself immersed in the effects then step back and consider the causes and begin again anew. I have news for you. It happens anyway whether you buy into it or not.
I see what is happening in the world and it isn't nearly as 'evil' as in other times and guess what? We survived those times and we'll thrive in these times.
Life is what you make it so that if you dwell in Egypt even the Egypt of criticizing the world you still must be liberated from even that phase of being.
Then as the Sepher Yetzirah points to, 'the creator will be reinstated upon his foundation.
The ego resists even to making its own veils of illusion its own destruction but none of that is real. Hashem continues his creation whether you are here or not just as those trees fall everyday in the forest and no one is around to witness.
