Wendy Wegner is a journalist and creative writer with more than 10 years of experience. Her articles have been featured in publications like Oprah.com, Peter Greenberg Worldwide (travel editor for CBS News) and Stand Up To Cancer (co-founded by Katie Couric) where she was magazine editor. Wendy is an experienced tutor, teacher, health educator and sports coach. As assistant director of a popular children’s arts enrichment program in Southern California, she worked with hundreds of children from diverse ages and backgrounds. Wendy received her M.F.A. in screenwriting from the American Film Institute Conservatory and is currently the editor of educational content for 1 On 1 Academic Tutors, a Los Angeles-based tutoring and educational resource company.
