Becca grew up with an eclectic Jewish education, including (but not limited to) the Jewish Day School, Camp Solomon Schechter, Community High School of Jewish Studies, United Synagogue Youth, B'Nai Brith Youth Organization, affiliation in three Seattle synagogues, and a strong Jewish home. She has been active in the Jewish community throughout her life, but also knows firsthand about doubt and skepticism when it comes to religion and following blindly. After creating a half-Jewish, half-Quaker wedding ceremony, Becca and her husband Josh have begun to practice Judaism in a new way, creating a delightful and ritualistic life together.
