Darah was born in Honolulu to a Hawaiian-Chinese mother and a Caucasian father. Brought up in the cultural shadow of both Buddhist and Methodist traditions, he experienced little of actual faith; for most of his life, he considered himself a spiritual bohemian. In 2003, Darah converted to Judaism. His subsequent experience exploring deeper observance, tradition, and Torah Law give him a unique perspective, which he hopes to share with you!
