Kate's cookbook is coming out.

It appears that Kate Gosselin's cookbook, Love is in the Mix, might be published soon after all.
The cookbook had been shelved by Zondervan Publishing amidst Kate's messy divorce with soon-to-be-ex-husband Jon Gosselin this past June. At the time, a Zondervan representative said they were working with Kate on a new schedule to allow her time to get her life together.
Well apparently Kate thinks everything's back in order, and perhaps the publisher, seeing her on media tours, a talk show host guest spot on The View, as well as taking part of a talk show of her own, thinks so, too.
At a women's conference in Charlotte, North Carolina, Kate told the crowd that her cookbook was coming out this fall. She also expressed interest in writing a memoir about her life.
But this may be wishful thinking on Kate's part. A search of the Zondervan website as well as Amazon.com left the cookbook nowhere to be found. Perhaps Kate's self-publishing? However it gets in our hands, we hope it's soon -- how else will we figure out how to make Monkey Munch?

Who in their right mind, would want a cookbook put out by the loser? Anyone can read directions off a box, and make something to eat. She then acts like it is a receipt she created. She is a big ZERO!!! Take them off the air for good.

If Paula Deen decides to cash in on Kate Gosselin's infamy, I will wonder if the recipes in Deen's cookbooks are as phony as the ones Kate tries to pass off as her own. Birds of a feather...I thought Paula was the real deal but I could very well be wrong. So sad.
A memoir? Now she's a fiction writer as well as her other stellar accomplishments. You know nothing in that tome will be true.
Lucky for Kate her life is documented on TLC film so she can include an accurate account of her abusive behaviors and deviant personality disorders in her memoir. I betcha it will be the only "memoir" sold as FICTION. Maybe Beth Carson will write this one also.

Trail mixes with cereal, nuts, raisins, candy, pretzels, etc, have been made since the '50's!
Kate hasn't invented or can't take credit for creating ANYTHING!
...including that book, which was written by her friend!
Monkey munch is not trail mix. Duh. And I had tried it before just never had the recipe till I saw it on the show. As far as Kate's creations go... I think creating 8 human beings more than qualifies. Or are you one of those people who doesn't think that birthing and raising children is at all an accomplishment?
Mixing up a bag of Monkey Munch or having a liter is nothing new. Women have been doing such things since time began. Except back when time began, the recipe wasn't printed on the back of a box! So, I guess if Kate gets any credit, it would be credit for being able to READ. She read the recipe for the munch and the book about how to have the six. So she is a talented reader.
Kate created nothing. GOD created the children. Kate & Jon are mere instruments through which God's work flowed.

Anyone can have trouble determining the done-ness of chicken on the grill! It's tricky. Give her a break. Do you do everything perfectly the first time?

The only thing that Kate Gosselin is famous for is having a strong as steel uterus. This lady needs to go away. I would not walk across the street to see her. Both she and her soon to be husband Jon are poor excuses for parents. Selling out their kids privacy because they were both too lazy to get a job.
How can Kate write a cookbook when she is never home to cook? I would bet that the only time she cooks is when the cameras are rolling. Why she is being considered for a talk show is beyond me..unless all she will be doing is talking about herself. Her discomfort on The View was painfully obvious. Her only real claim to fame is having given birth to a brood of kids. She fell into a gold mine and will milk it for all it's worth. When all is said and done I hiope she ahs socked away enough of the $$. Otherwise she will have to go back to being a labor and delivery nurse..in other words, work at regular job just like the rest of us. Her worthless about-to-be ex husband will end up being an unemployed deadbeat dad. HIS 15 minutes of fame are just about up. What a jerk he turned out to be!
monkey munch is not a new recipe. my mother has a cookbook from the 70's with the exact same recipe. Also the side of one of the chex cereal boxes had the exact same recipe on it. i hate to break it to kate, but she is just someone who takes others ideas and uses it to her advaantage. she does nothing new. she does not even cook for the family tlc has a chef! she is never home except when they are taping for kate plus eight.
We were one of her neighbors in PA actually on her street. She could be heard yelling sometimes all the way to our house. Her church was so nice to add that upstairs addition to the house for the older girls and all the did was yell at the helpers.
I felt terrible for her and her parents. The kids are dolls. And the girls were very bright. But Kate needs to fix her mental state. My husband and I felt sorry for the kids.
