What's your Senator's stance on employee protections for women?

They were targeted as being in favor of rape, and now they want the Democratic Senator who indirectly called them out on this issue to apologize.

The Democratic Senator in question is Minnesota's junior Senator, Al Franken.

Why is Franken being targeted?  Because he proposed a very reasonable amendment to a Senate Defense appropriations bill that would deny government contracts to companies that would allow its female employees to be sexually abused in the workplace - and then send them to an arbitration process that would solely benefit the company.

This amendment came to light because of the unconscionable gang rape of Jamie Leigh Jones, a young woman who worked for KBR, a defense contractor and former subsidiary of Dick Cheney's old company, Halliburton.

The amendment passed by a vote of 68-30, with two non-votes.  All 30 of those "Nay" votes were cast by Republican Senators.  White, male Republican Senators (listed below in alphabetical order):

  1. Senator Lamar Alexander (R-Tennessee)
  2. Senator John Barrasso (R-Wyoming)
  3. Senator Kit Bond (R-Missouri)
  4. Senator Sam Brownback (R-Kansas)
  5. Senator Jim Bunning (R-Kentucky)
  6. Senator Richard Burr (R-North Carolina)
  7. Senator Saxby Chambliss (R-Georgia)
  8. Senator Tom Coburn (R-Oklahoma)
  9. Senator Thad Cochran (R-Mississippi)
  10. Senator Bob Corker (R-Tennessee)
  11. Senator John Cornyn (R-Texas)
  12. Senator Mike Crapo (R-Idaho)
  13. Senator Jim DeMint (R-South Carolina)
  14. Senator John Ensign (R-Nevada)
  15. Senator Mike Enzi (R-Wyoming)
  16. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina)
  17. Senator Judd Gregg (R-New Hampshire)
  18. Senator James Inhofe (R-Oklahoma)
  19. Senator Johnny Isakson (R-Georgia)
  20. Senator Mike Johanns (R-Nebraska)
  21. Senator Jon Kyl (R-Arizona)
  22. Senator John McCain (R-Arizona)
  23. Senator Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky)
  24. Senator James Risch (R-Idaho)
  25. Senator Pat Roberts (R-Kansas)
  26. Senator Jeff Sessions (R-Alabama)
  27. Senator Richard Shelby (R-Alabama)
  28. Senator John Thune (R-South Dakota)
  29. Senator David Vitter (R-Louisiana)
  30. Senator Roger Wicker (R-Mississippi)

These are the 30 "Republicans for Rape" and they are really not happy with Franken.  Why are they not happy with Franken?  Because the media - particularly the local media outlets in each Senator's home state - called them out for their votes.  These thirty Senators would rather protect their friends in the defense industry than see justice served when it needs to be.

Why would anyone - especially women - vote for these men in the first place?

Think about it.

Under Federal Law, Title 18 Section 245 the workplace is a Federally protected activity....but.. the FED COURT at Philly has allowed the corporations to rape women for many years.

AND PHILADELPHIA IS WELL AWARE OF IT

In my case, they let a known serial rapist remain at large, to assault another woman, and they let the rapist go after me again. The rapist is still in business

The Court ignored mandatory federal sentencing for rape,

They had more porn parties at the Court

And they got caught taking money from corporate attorneys to let rapists go free

WORKPLACE RAPE IS A FEDERAL CRIME,
INTERNET PORNOGRAPHY IS A FEDERAL CRIME

TAKING MONEY FROM CORPORATE ATTORNEYS TO LET CORPORATIONS RAPE WOMEN IS A FEDERAL CRIME AS WELL

THE CITY NOW PAYS 700 MILLION IN NEW TAXES FOR THOSE CRIMINALS

THE CRIMINALS ARE STILL IN BUSINESS AT THE COURT HOUSE

AND I STILL WANT THAT RAPIST IN PRISON FOR MAKING RAPE PORN FILMS
