Health care reform supporters and those depicting the President as Hitler
The Great Depression was the last time Americans observed the holiday as a reminder of the dark reality of rampant unemployment.
Is this the second Great Depression?
Some 15 million people are jobless. Only an estimated 4 million Americans are without health coverage. That’s out of 310 million people!
While we are at it, where are the jobs promised?
Priorities
How can our government rate socialized medicine as their top priority when unemployment and the economic meltdown continue to escalate? It’s no wonder that our approval rating of congress is at 30% in fact almost 60% of America want all members of congress thrown out.
Americans are calling for accountability from all our elected officials; especially the FED which needs to be audited. The deficit they’ve created now has our country upside down in relation to our GDP (check the National Debt Clock on the right column.)
President Obama’s approval rating is dropping everyday (schools across the nation won’t air his propaganda message). Mrs. Pelosi who is overseeing the health care overhaul has a 25% approval rating. Maybe this is where the new jobs are hiding. It will take all kinds of auditors, financial analysts and educators to teach the government the ideas behind what a balance sheet is suppose to look like.
Meanwhile, Arizona’s real unemployment rate when taken into account all the “discouraged part-time workers” is about 16%. Illegal aliens hold many of the jobs in Arizona-this issue isn't on the President's menu.
Take heart on this Labor Day in the fact that there are jobs out there. Companies are more prone to hire after the holiday, vacations are over, and school and Congress are back in session.
Where the jobs are
The restaurant industry is hiring, health care remains the leader, the government’s hiring, hotel/motels, college admissions, solar companies, aerospace and semiconductor part producers have been hiring.
Other professions that have been very busy are: Appraisers, debt relief counselors, financial advisors, roofers, HVAC technicians and highway construction.
