Musician Neil Young and his wife Pegi have invited an impressive list of folks to jam in the 23rd Annual Bridge School Benefit Concert this year. Parrot Heads will be happy to see Jimmy Buffett included in this rockin’ lineup.
Held on October 24 & 25 at the Shoreline Amphitheater, this year's performers include No Doubt, Sheryl Crow, Monsters of Folk, Gavin Rossdale, Coldplay's Chris Martin, Fleet Foxes, Adam Sandler and Wolfmother. Jimmy Buffett is scheduled to play Saturday night at the event. Neil Young also plans to perform for the crowd.
Originally held in 1986, The Bridge School Benefit is an annual non-profit charity concert held in Mountain View, California every October at the Shoreline Amphitheatre. The concerts are all organized by Neil and Pegi Young to benefit The Bridge School.
The Bridge School’s mission is to ensure that individuals with severe speech and physical impairments achieve full participation in their communities. They are an internationally recognized leader in the education of children.
This is an innovative non-profit organization that educates children with severe speech and physical impairments through the use of:
• creative approaches to education and communication
• augmentative/ alternative communication systems technology
• extensive involvement of families and community

Tickets for the 23rd Annual Bridge School Benefit Concert went on sale Sunday, September 20th and can be purchased at Livenation.com or charge by phone at (877) 598-6659. In addition, tickets may be purchased at the Shoreline Amphitheatre Box Office between 10am to 2pm on Sundays with no service charge. Advance tickets are $150.00 and $75.00 for reserved seating and $39.50 for general admission plus applicable service charges. Proceeds from these auction tickets will benefit the Bridge School.
