Judy underwent a life-changing experience while visiting Israel for the first time at the age of 18. She returned to the University of Maryland, changed her major from music education to history, and became passionate about all things Jewish. Since that time, she has spent seven years in Israel with her husband and children, worked as a Jewish educator and Judaica librarian, spent 10 years as executive director of the Mid-Kansas Jewish Federation, and six years as director of the Wichita Jewish Community School.
