Hiring the right photography-videography team is crucial to the way your memories will be captured and preserved. Here is a basic questionnaire to help keep you on the right track:

-Does the proposed studio inspire your trust?  Do you feel confident that the photographers and videographers will cover your event in a professional manner?

-Do you feel comfortable around the photographer and videographer?  If you do not feel at ease with them in a preliminary meeting, think of how you would find working with them  for a duration of 4-8 hours?

-Would they be able blend in well at your simcha or form an obtrusive presence?

-What experience does the photography-videography team have?  Have they done work besides weddings and bar mitzvahs that might broaden their perspective?

- When you go to a studio to sign a contract, do you get to meet the professionals who will be covering your event?

-Is the studio open to hearing your ideas about style, or do they take a one-size-fits-all  approach to all weddings they cover?

-Do you get the feeling that the photographers and videograpers love what they do, or are you just another job to them?  Enthusiasm you feel from professionals about your event will likely translate into a more meaningful finished product for you.
