18k gold and diamond earrings and necklace from
Antonini's Anniversary Collection
Jewelry aficionados—either industry insiders or customers with a discerning taste for fine jewels—are already familiar with Antonini, one of the leading brands out of the country that has long led the world in jewelry (and, of course, fashion) design.
Antonini, in sum, is Italian for “a-m-a-z-i-n-g jewelry” (okay, not literally but, in design, precisely). The historic Milan-based firm specializes in high-end, 18k gold jewelry with fashion-forward design and trademark Italian craftsmanship. Granted, there are many high-end jewelry designers out there. There are also a bazillion historic firms. So, why am I a fan of Antonini? Well, it isn’t often that you find luxury jewelry that is completely on-trend, and soooo perfectly crafted.
Given those facts, I’m not at all surprised that this Italian powerhouse brand has reached it’s milestone 90th anniversary this year. I’m thrilled, however, that Antonini has decided to commemorate the occasion with a very special Anniversary Collection. Pictured here, a couple of my favorite pieces from the collection: these unique earrings and pendant that feature an organic, handcrafted feel with a sprinkling of diamonds.
Now, let me be clear: this is fashionable, but (obviously) not in any way “fashion” jewelry. Antonini uses the finest materials and creates pieces that will be heirlooms. Retail prices for the Anniversary Collection, for example, start at around $1,800 and go up to nearly $50,000. Expensive? Yes. A worthy investment for generations to come? No doubt.
Further flexing its jewelry know-how, Antonini recently hired Wolfgang Mockel of KWM Exclusives, one of America’s leading jewelry experts, to represent the brand in the United States. Right now, the brand has a very exclusive distribution. New Englanders can check out Long’s in Massachusetts; elsewhere, Antonini can be found at selected Saks Fifth Avenue locations.
More questions? Insiders can see the collection at the JA show in New York this weekend... otherwise, see Antonini ‘s website or contact KWM Exclusives.
