Jersey Shore star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi has her MTV co-star and friend Jenni "JWoWW" Farley to thank for making her a free woman again. Following Snooki's disorderly conduct arrest on Friday, JWoWW confirms she came to Snooki's rescue. "Going to bail @Sn00ki out of jail," JWoWW tweeted. "The things I do for this girl I swear."

of MTV cameras and a huge crowd of on-lookers. JWoWW followed Snooki to the Seaside Heights police station keeping fans updated on the situation through Twitter. "On my way to free Snooki!!" she tweeted as she joked about the arrest. "We need to hold a candlelight vigil outside the police station!"
In a statement released by Seaside Heights Police Chief Thomas Boyd he confirms the 22 year old reality tv star was released, but says she was issued a summons. Read the full police statement on Snooki's arrest.
The Jersey Shore cast returned to Seaside Heights over the last few days to begin production on Jersey Shore Season 3. Snooki's arrest, which you can bet will appear on Jersey Shore Season 3, came the day after Jersey Shore Season 2 premiered on MTV breaking audience records and becoming the year's most watched cable telecast.
