If you’re late-summer weekend plans haven’t quite gelled the way you hoped, let me suggest you head toward the Delta for the Brentwood Art Wine & Jazz Festival.
Presented by the Brentwood Art Society, the event features two days packed with all three titular attractions. The jazz, certainly, is first rate, featuring both local ensembles and some of Northern California’s best players. Check out the schedule below.
SATURDAY
11 a.m.: Liberty High School Big Band
Noon: Heritage High School Big Band
1 p.m.: Raul Ramirez Latin Jazz Quintet with Jennifer Lee
3 p.m.: Larry Vann
5 p.m.: Victor Little Jazz Quartet
7 p.m.: Delta Wires
SUNDAY
11 a.m.: Darryl Rowe Jazz Quintet with Pete Yellin
1 p.m.: Anna Maria Flechero with Little Brown Brother
3 p.m.: Lloyd Gregory
