WWE wrestling star Umaga is dead.
The sports entertainment superstar passed away today in a Texas hospital, according to multiple published reports.
Known as "Umaga," Eddie Fatu was a popular wrestler who has also appeared in mainstream television programming, including a few cameos on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
Umaga was recently involved in the iconic Hulkamania tour in Australia highlighted by a match between two semi-retired wrestling legends, Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair.
Umaga was found unconscious at home by his wife, who was unable to revive her husband.
The WWE reacted to Umaga's death on its website moments ago.
World Wrestling Entertainment offered its "deepest condolences to Mr. Fatu's family, friends and fans on his tragic passing".
Umaga had previously left the WWE after a second violation of WWE's Wellness Policy. Umaga had allegedly refused to enter drug rehabilitation, a scenario fueling rumors tonight that drugs proved a factor in Umaga's death.

It's hard to believe that these long time professionals didn't even both to try to make it look real. Very disappointing.

i read that Hogan doesn't actually want to appear in TNA's "Impact Zone" for fear it looks too "minor league". What could be more minor league than this??
