Largely due to the runaway success of his hit, "I'm Yours", Jason Mraz has been named as one of the top artists of the year according to Billboard. On Thursday, Billboard released its rankings for male and female artist of the year as well as top artist of the year.

Jason Mraz ranked fourth for the 2009 Top Male Artist of the Year behind Kanye West in the top spot, followed by T.I. and Flo Rida. Jason Mraz had unprecedented success this year with his song "I'm Yours" which spent a record 76 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. "I'm Yours" debuted on the Hot 100 chart on May 3, 2008 and ended its run, the longest stay in the chart's history, in October 2009.

Mraz was also recently recognized as one of the top selling digital artists of the decade. "I'm Yours" was the third highest selling digital song of the last 10 years with 4,619,000 units sold only behind
Flo Rida feat. T-Pain, “Low” with 5,214,000 units sold and Lady Gaga feat. Colby O’Donis, “Just Dance,” with 4,690,000 units sold.

Mraz's simple little "hippy song" has appeal to the young and old. Watch this cute little boy's rendition of "I'm Yours" on the ukulele.
