On December 21, Jason Mraz and Rob Thomas performed at an annual fundraiser for the Blythedale Children's Hospital in Valhalla, New York sponsored by local radio station WPLJ. Over 400 people, including many children in wheelchairs or on gurneys, enjoyed pizza and ice cream as they listened to Mraz and Thomas perform on stage.
The four-hour event was the 18th annual Holiday Spectacular hosted by WPLJ's Scott Shannon and Todd Pettengill, and included an online auction of rock 'n' roll and sports memorabilia. The hospital is located in Westchester County, just outside of New York City.
Jason Mraz and Rob Thomas both performed solo sets and then they performed songs together including a rendition of "Stand By Me."
