January 21 - Jason Mraz along with Timmy Curran, The Makepeace Brothers, and Bushwalla will perform at "Cord Progression", a special night of music in support of Jesse Billauer’s motivational speaking tour, Life Rolls On and Spinal Cord Injury Awareness.
It was announced on Tuesday that the concert will be held at the Long Beach Terrace Theatre in Long Beach, California on Saturday, February 27, 2010. Tickets to the general public go on sale through Ticketmaster.com on January 23. Information on the presale for fans which ends tomorrow can be found at Jason Mraz's official website.
Jesse Billauer suffered permanent spinal cord injury after a surfing accident. He now runs the Life Rolls On Foundation, a non-profit organization which "provides hope and is an advocate on behalf of young people whose lives have been affected by spinal cord injury." Life Rolls On has recently merged with the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation. A documentary has been released about Jesse called "Jesse's Story".
