April 2 - Both straight and gay celebrities like Cyndi Lauper, Sharon Osbourne, Whoopi Goldberg, Clay Aiken, Elton John, Wanda Sykes, Anna Paquin, Jason Mraz, Kim Kardashian, Cynthia Nixon and Kelly Osbourne appear in new PSAs released on Tuesday for the organization WeGiveADamn.org.

The PSAs promote the cause of equal rights for gays addressing issues like marriage equality, gays serving in the military and overall equal rights for gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgenders.
The We Give a Damn Campaign is described as being "for everybody, especially straight people, who care about gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender equality."
The PSA shown below has caused quite a stir with True Blood star Anna Paquin announcing that she was bisexual on camera for the first time. Paquin is engaged to her True Blood co-star Stephen Moyer. The video was shot back in January. Radar Online revealed that the We Give a Damn Campaign is sponsored by Cyndi Lauper's True Colors foundation.
The True Colors Foundation also sponsors the monthly True Colors Cabaret concerts in New York City. In December 2009, Jason Mraz performed at Feinstein’s at Loews Regency for the True Colors Cabaret. Jason Mraz filmed an individual PSA for the We Give A Damn campaign which can be seen here.
