Looking to keep up with the times and trends, lingerie maker and retailer Triumph International Japan unveiled a new promotional fashion bra aimed at home gardeners on May 12th.

For over a decade Triumph Japan has been designing unique promotional lingerie sets.  The company stated in a press release, “Every year we want to introduce a free-thinking, highly original bra design in the theme of the year’s trends and topics.”   Last fall they produced the “Nice Cup in Bra” – a bra that could turn into a putting mat for sporting practice on the go. This year the theme has changed to farming.

“Agriculture,” the lingerie maker noted, “became quite popular among a broad range of ages last year, and still stands out at the moment. So, we produced the ‘My Tanbo (rice field) Bra.’”

The My Tanbo Bra is made from two halves of a planter, which can snap together with Velcro to form a whole pot. Padding inside the bra can be turned into cloth arm guards for protection from sun and dirt, and the neck strap has tiny reflectors to help scare off unwanted birds from any plants. The bra set comes with a belt made out of a hose, a pouch for potting soil, and some rice seedlings for planting. There are also matching panties and a set of work gloves with the Japanese characters for a “good harvest.”

Triumph Japan feels that people are concerned with the importance of both farming and their surrounding environments. The My Tanbo Bra kit will allow those people to practice rice growing anywhere they want – potentially while half nude.

Unfortunately for those who would now like to buy a set or two to start their own balcony bra garden, the My Tanbo Bra is not for sale.
