Lingerie maker and retailer Triumph International Japan unveiled a rather unique bra and panty set for young, busy, fashion-conscious, sports-loving women called the “Nice Cup in Bra” on November 11th. The bra’s unique point is that it is designed to be a reversible putting mat for golfing practice anywhere.
Triumph states in a press release that while golf in Japan has traditionally been seen as “communication sport” for business men, there has been a popularity boom in the sport among younger women. They also say “with qualification training, life enrichment lessons, love life, married life, and time spent on beauty and self-healing, woman’s schedules are always full.”
With that in mind, Triumph’s “Nice Cup in Bra” is made to be an easily reversible putting mat for those women always on the go. The mat is about 1.5 meters (5 feet) in length and has (unsurprisingly) two cups to aim for. The bra also has small pockets for holding golf tees and scoring pencils.
When the wearer makes a good putt while practicing, the bra says “Nice in!,” lending to the bra’s name.
The “Nice Cup in Bra” set also includes a mini golf skirt, panties, and side holder for carrying golf balls and other items. The mini skirt can even be turned into a banner that reads, “Be Quiet,” for those looking for some peace and quiet while practicing their putt.
The press release indicates the bra set is aimed strictly at females, rather than one might first assume at males looking for a little bedroom time sporting fun.
The “Nice Cup in Bra” was designed in promotion of the Triumph’s 2010 spring and summer lingerie collection, and is currently listed as being not for sale. (However, if it were to go on sale, one might question whether the cups would come in multiple sizes and how comfortable it would be for the wearer.)
