March 15, 3019 TA: The Battle of the Pelennor Fields (Mordor, Harad, Rhûn and Khand v. Gondor, Rohan and the Dúnedain of the North), with the Men of the West victorious. Death of King Théoden of Rohan, slain in battle with the Lord of the Nazgûl; he is succeeded by his nephew Éomer. Destruction of the Lord of the Nazgûl by Éowyn Dernhelm and Meriadoc Brandybuck.

March 17, 3019 TA: The Battle of Dale begins (Easterlings v. Men of Dale, Dwarves of Erebor).
