While I was never a big Martini drinker, Martini Bianco Vermouth was a quaff I fell in love with while living in Rome. It's so light over a cube of ice, or two, how can you resist? It seems to go with humid days and views of ruins. It is also pretty divine with a splash of Campari. There's dry and a sweeter version. The dry has some of those oxidized flavors of sherry, but I can't resist the sweeter one.
It is also a great low-alcohol way to start a meal, like having a glass of Prosecco. At least the bottle of Martini Bianco won't spoil once you open it. Cin cin,
