Many movie fans in Italy will be watching this Sunday’s Oscar telecast live at 3:00 a.m. local time. Movies are truly an international sensation and the Italian media has been all over this event. In the past, many Italian films have won or been nominated for Oscars.
Those very passionate Italian movie buffs are sure to get hungry in the middle of the night. One 
snack they will definitely nibble on in Tuscany is their famous biscotti (in various iterations), very likely dipped in a glass of Vin Santo (sweet dessert wine) from Tuscany. This makes a great snack at any time of day or night.
Whether you watch the 2009 Academy Awards at home or with a group of people, there always seems to be food involved. After all, one can get very hungry watching all those stars walk the red carpet and wondering which ones will be happy award winners when the night is over.
