My heart goes out to that Arab Muslim woman. Some time ago, I wrote about the Muslim cleric in France who wrote a book about how to beat one’s wife and how to do it without non-Muslims authorities finding a mark. I also reported cases of Arabs beating servants not only in Saudi Arabia but also in the United States. This is a scandal little remarked upon. Why do you suppose that is?
Innocent women should not suffer pain because of husbands’ neurosis. Too bad those men do not realize the great joy of having wives in mutual, wholesome love and companionship!
There may be another factor. Obesity and diabetes are raging, as I reported, in at least some Arab countries: Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Jordan. An early stage of diabetes is hypoglycemia, or low blood sugar. One symptom of hypoglycemia is loss of temper.
The abuse of Arab women and children produces sadism, hence torture of prisoners, too, riots, and probably wars.
I challenge readers to rise to this occasion, and oppose Arab wife-beating, whether because of religion or bad temper, illness or immaturity. Arab women need your help, international investigation, and support.
Wife-beating used to be more common in Western society. Maybe it will abate in Arab society, but that society remains traditional.

The poor woman suffers both physically and mentally from izlam, the cult of hate death and violence to all others.
She blames what "izlam teaches him" yet when it comes to allah, the supreme being, the end all be all of izlam, she can't come to terms with that. "allah doesn't see us worthy"... "I don't blame him".

Beatings done by anyone to anyone is wrong. I don't care if it's done in the Islamic Arab world, the Western Christian world or anywhere else in the world. IT IS WRONG. There is no reason for it, only lame excuses...all of which I'm sure will be found to be lacking justification on the day of judgment.
Mimi: Agreed, but the point is that the proportion of women under strict Muslim governments, who are beaten by husbands, is so much higher than in most other cultures, as to constitute a major social problem and injustice. A critic tried to minimize the problem by asserting that some Jews beat their wives. The proportion is so small, and it does not have religious sanction, that equating the two peoples in this is deceitful.

Infidel Alliance: I deleted your comments calling Islam's founder names. Another such offense against journalistic standards, and I delete all your comments. We are to discuss issues, not insult.
Just quoting from a founder's teachings does not suffice to make a case, and translates poorly into modern English. They all get interpreted. The full case must come from: (1) Actual behavior; (2) The religious rationale given for it; and (3) Religious scholars' and officials' justification for it or condoning of it.
Call me a cynical skeptic, but what proof do we have that this was written by an Arab woman? This could easily be a "false flag" manifesto written by an opposition activist. You've all seen them: the gun-grabber who writes, "I'm an NRA member, but I think sniper rifles should be outlawed;" the conservative who writes, "I've voted Democrat all my life but I'm ashamed of Obama."
Read the message again, except this time, try to imagine that it was written by a "civilized" pro-Israel male to discredit "indecent, unworthy" Arab men who "won't just buckle down and deal the cards they were given."
Hey, it may be true, and it may not -- I'm just saying that we'd all be a lot better off if people exercised a lot more skepticism and a lot less credulity.

Mr. Bowman: Anything is possible. Why do you suggest skepticism here, when the woman's comment accords with Muslim male chauvinism? It's a serious problem.
"The woman's comment accords with Muslim male chauvinism" in much the same way that Axis Sally's claims that our soldiers' wives were out playing around with other men while their husbands were off fighting the war "accords with American sexual mores." But no matter how you cut it, propaganda is still propaganda.
This is probably one of the original reasons why Islamic imams always agree with Muslim men (Arab is only one kind of Muslim, not all Muslims are Arab) are given the approval from Islamic imams on the burkha. The burkha serves to cover up all and any evidence should she step out in public. God forbid that anyone should see the bruises, scars, gashes, etc. on the skin.

Wafa Sultan - a female apostate of Islam speaking on a punishment many women in Islam are doomed to receive for breaking Sharia law rules for women - many which American women break in every day routine because we enjoy freedoms many in Islam will never know. We take our freedoms for granted - and are naive to the fact of the Islamic expansionist activities over the centuries with the end goal of world domination - all still ravaging today. Mainstream Islam is fringe freedom today. We have left them in the dust and this lady sees it for what it is.
