Inspirational stories of hometown heroes and heroines always seem to soften the hearts of all they touch, inciting most of us to take a stand, make a difference or find some way to make our mark in society. To seek greatness within ourselves is empowering yet the many images of these unsung heroes we see in mainstream media has very little Muslim representation and we have great inspirations right here in our midst. Muslim women and men who are truly making strides to better the lives of others are too notably deserving of all the accolades as well.

The talent within our own community is astounding to say the least and we have tapped into a network of Muslim Women that will mentor and empower other women in our communities. Over the next few weeks we will introduce you to several phenomenal women in our community that will empower you, encourage you and incite you to follow your dreams.
