NASA released its first official app for the iPhone today, officially launching the iPhone into the final frontier. The free app allows you to explore different NASA missions like the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter and Mars Exploration Rovers. And not only do you get mission details, but you can also check out images, videos and see what NASA is tweeting about concerning the mission.
But perhaps the coolest feature is the ability to track where the International Space Station is relative to Earth. (Right now, it is just to the east of Africa.) Okay, perhaps not the most awe-inspiring bit of knowledge, but its pretty neat being able to check up on its location.
The NASA app is free and is available on the iPhone app store right now.

Does the app track the ISS and display it on Google Earth? I was just wondering because of "google" written across the screen...
