Astraware Casino iPhone iPod Touch review

A screenshot of the main menu of Astraware Casino.

Astraware Casino is a newly released casino app for the iPhone and iPod Touch that is on sale for 99 cents. It is a great casino app that allows you to get rid of other casino apps to streamline your iPhone/iPod Touch apps. Currently this game is not on the top download list on iTunes but I foresee it getting close to the top within the next few days.

Astraware Casino features a multitude of casino games including, blackjack, two types of video poker, Texas hold’ em, roulette, craps, baccarat, 3 card poker, keno, slots, and horse racing. That’s a lot of games and almost every game anyone could possibly want in one single app. All of the games are simple to play if you already know the rules to the games and if you don’t, there are easy to follow instructions to learn. There’s also lots of options to customize your casino experience.  Most importantly Astraware Casino is just a play app.  There's no real money to be lost here.

The graphics leave a little to be desired but it is not an eyesore. It does not take away from the game. There are good but not great sounds in Astraware Casino. Perhaps an update in the future adding ambient casino sounds would really give the game a big boost. You can also play whatever is on your iPod as a soundtrack to the game.

Here is the official demo video for Astraware Casino:

All in all Astraware Casino is a great must have app. The normal $5 price tag could be a little steep if you’re not into casino games but at the current rate of $1, this game is as big a steal as The Price is Right app. The games are all very good and it eliminates a need for a lot of other free apps. Go on to iTunes and download Astraware Casino immediately.
