As if bugs weren't annoying enough in real life, now you can download them onto your iPhone. No, really. Just roaches and flies, though.
Suponix has created a game for the iPhone and iPod Touch called iRoach, and it's exactly what you would expect--scurrying roaches, buzzing flies and squishy bug-killing fun.
For those of you who are easily turned off by bug guts, iRoach may not be the game for you. But for some quick fun while waiting at the doctor's office or standing in line at the DMV, who can resist a little bug massacre?
In two minutes, you have to kill as many roaches and flies as you can. But hurry, they're definitely quick! It sounds easier than it is, and the challenge is what makes you keep playing! In fact, you can play against your friends as well! There is an online record board, so if you're one of the top 100 scorers, your name and score can be posted online at http://iroach.suponix.com/ for all to see! What better way to brag to your friends than sharing your iRoach kill score?
For being a bug-killing app, iRoach does have great graphics and pretty amusing sounds to boot. And how much would I have to pay for this app? It's regularly $1.99, but if you download it before the 15th of July (that's two days, people!) it's FREE! Yup, download the game and squish yourself silly, because it's only for a limited time!

• The only thing I think it's missing is the ability to be "upgraded." For example, allow the user to utilize a fly swatter, shoe, etc. And hey, while you're at it, add more bugs, "bonus" bugs, and the ability to add more time to it. Just a thought. |
