After continued pressure by the United States, Europe, Chinese youth and all major computer manufacturers, China has decided to delay their order to require all new computers sold in their country to have an Internet filtering program, known as Green Dam.

According to Reuters and AFP, in a collaborative story, this was a cause for great celebration among the youth of China.

Originally the youth (200+) had decided to stage a protest at the "Green Zone" cafe in Beijing, as part of a larger Internet boycott of Green Dam. Instead, after hearing the news that the Chinese government had delayed their plans, the youth turned their protest into an all day party. Festivities included: matching T-shirts, breakfast, censorship talks and an all-day E-party.

The organizer of the event, outspoken Chinese artist, Ai Weiwei vowed that his group would continue to keep an eye on the Chinese government and realizes the censorship debate is not over in the Chinese government's eyes. He also expressed a strong belief that the young people of China would continue to fight censorship.
