Letterman has not been funny for 20 years. He's always been politically left of center but now he's just a nasty liberal trying to appeal to brain-washed college kids and Nancy Pelosi fans. To comment about Palin's looks or a Yankee raping Palin's teen daughter is very sad. Apparently he is SO insulated that he's never considered how outrageous it would be to make such jokes about his family. All I can conclude is that he and the rest of the media Lefties must really feel threatend by the likes of Palin & Bush. Ironically if Palin were a leftie she'd be a rock star! Their (letterman's & others) motivations are so obvious it's embarassing. His mother must be proud. Why does Letterman get a pass for making a joke about A Rod raping Sarah Palin's teenage daughter but Don Imus gets fired for saying something that was offensive but not nearly as offensive as joking about a teenage girl getting raped? Letterman needs to be fired. He hasn't been funny since 1984 and now he has to resort to making sick comments about raping a teenage girl. The hypocrisy of the liberals and Democrats once again rears its ugly head.

A psychologist would probably attribute Dave's nastiness and pandering to INSECURITIES. Anybody who watched Letterman's show in the '80s knows what a timid & insecure guy he really is (he was a basket case).....millions of dollars can't correct it but it does enable him to mask it & shoot his mouth off without fear of being scolded or fired.
