The clip aired on CBS 4 Denver at 5pm. Hoping to get links soon. They interviewed Colleen Frisina about the families efforts to get phone records, which Linda Frisina's grandmother told me via phone were taking awhile because "Cricket is slow." They also highlighted the usage of social networks like Facebook and Twitter to spread the word.

The resounding word I'm getting across media and web channels is that pressure from the internet is having an effect on the investigation, as the CBS 4 News reporter said (inexact quotes here ) "that the Investigator was reporting unsual amount of calls from the bloggersphere." I imagine that's thanks to everyone who wanted verification of the story, besides myself. The reporter also said that the investigator "would also respond to any internet inquire that warranted action"
If anyone at all has information on Jennifer, please call the numbers below, or 911.

Jennifer Frisina was last seen on Saturday 4/11/09 around 5:00 pm wearing a black zip up hoodie, black pants and white sneakers. She is 5'5" and around 150 lbs, brown hair, brown eyes. Any information on her whereabouts can be called into the Arapahoe County Sheriff's office or Bruce Isaccson. Arapahoe County Sheriff's office 303-874-4022. The Missing Children's Taskforce (720-641-6432) is also working on this case as well as the Nation Center For Missing and Exploited Children. (1-800-the-LOST 1-800-843-5678)

Has anyone seen anything to show that this story is real? Has anyone called any of the numbers? Call me a cynic, but there are tons of news stories about teens that have/had been missing in the Colorado area for less time than this, but no mention yet about this girl.
Though the uncle says that the girl was never even an hour late, the day after she was supposedly missing, the uncle was posting that he was adding himself to the wefollow directory as a poker comic designer.
I don't want to think someone would lie about such things, but add that all up to a request for money via pay pal for a "reward" and it smells fishy to me.

I really do hope you will find her, and that everything will be OK. I cannot imagine what you are going through, and wish I could help. But living so far away, and having less money than you do make that hard. If I had heard about this before today I may have been able to send some money, but I spent most of the last of my tax return last night.
I have friends in the Denver area though, and I will ask them to do what they can, and at least pray. As I will also be doing.

I spoke with the family, and phoned Investigative Lieutenant Curti of the Arapahoe County Sheriff's office; he confirmed they are working on the case, but could not give further details due to early stages.
Jennifer Frisina is my granddaughter and I can assure you this story is legitimate. She is a MISSING CHILD.
The investigator working on this case is Bruce Isaacson at the Arapahoe County Sheriff's office 303-874-4022.

I have a daughter and GOD knows I would use every resource possible if this was happening to my family. My prayers are with her and her family.
